The 4th edition of the 12 Punto Script Days took place in Istanbul between 12-20 July 2022. The 12 Punto Script days selection comittee awarded the upcoming feature film Apathy by director Alexandros Avranas for the international co-production award. Sezzfilm, as the Turkish co-producer of the film received the award on the closing ceremony.
Apathy is a co-production between France, Greece, Estonia and Sweden. The Project received Eurimages support in September 2022. The Cage is among the finalists in 58th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival National Competition.9/7/2021
We are happy to announce that "The Cage", the 4th feature film from Cemil Ağacıkoğlu, produced by Sezzfilm is among the finalist in the National Competition in 58th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. The selection committee, consisting of Mehmet Açar, Muammer Brav and Sevin Okyay, has evaluated 44 entries and determined 10 finalists of the National Feature-Length Film Competition.

This year, the pre-jury selected 12 feature film projects among the 148 applications. The Reeds, 5th feature film project by director & writer Cemil Ağacıkoğlu was among the finalists. The jury consisting Mike Downey – Director of the European Film Academy, Georges Goldenstern – Director of Cannes Film Festival Cinéfondation, Fatma Hassan Alremaihi – CEO of Doha Film Institute, Gabor Greiner – Director of Films Boutique, Jovan Marjanovic – Director of Cinelink awarded four projects with the pre-buy of the tv rights and four projects with the co-production with TRT. 4th feature film by the director Cemil Ağacıkoğlu, "The Cage" will be presented to the industry professionals during Sarajevo Film Festival's Cinelink Industry Days, at the Work In Progress section.
The film is produced by Sezgi Üstün San and Cemil Ağacıkoğlu and the shooting were completed at December 2018. About this years Cinelink Work In Progress Program: "CineLink Work in Progress is a section of the Sarajevo Film Festival's co-production market, which serves as a showcase of the most exciting new works from Southeast Europe and the MENA region. The selection includes 11 exciting new feature-length films: 9 fiction and 2 documentaries, which will be presented to up to 60 high-profile industry professionals (founders, sales agents, distributors, broadcasters and festival programmers) with the aim of assisting their completion and enhancing their distribution possibilities." Click here to read the full article. Second Feature Film project from Mustafa Nuri, The Kids Are Coming is selected to participate in 15th Sofia Meetings - Project in Bank section. The director and producers will be attending to the festival between 16 - 18 March 2018 for one to one meetings with the industry professionals.
The Kids Are Coming is a co-production between Turkey and France (Epicentre Films), planned to be shot at the end of 2018. "9 fiction and one documentary feature film projects have been selected among 110 submissions by the selection committee to participate in this year’s Meetings on the Bridge Film Development Workshop, which will be held on 10-11th of April within the scope of the 36th Istanbul Film Festival with the support of Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA). The film screened at the festival as a part of International Competition programme. The Team, Sezgi Üstün San (Producer), Serkan Ercan (Actor), Cemil Ağacıklıoğlu (Director), Fatma Arzu Agacikoglu, Ilgaz Kocatürk (Actor) attended the screening and Q&A afterwards.
